Families’ community rules

This WhatsApp community is a space for families of Petit Estel La Nova School. The aim is to collaborate and to improve day-to-day life for families and pupils.

It is essential to use polite language and to respect every member’s opinions.

The aim of this group is to collaborate and contribute new ideas, pooling efforts among families and working together to improve day-to-day life for every pupil at the school. We believe that active collaboration between families and the school is essential for day-to-day life at school to keep improving.

To achieve that aim, communication must be fluid and respectful at all times: no insults, no personal attacks and no aggressive messages.

Debate and differing ideas are welcome. Personal attacks, contempt or pressure on other families are not.

Personal data of children or families are not published: not names, phone numbers, screenshots, notes, or information about health, conduct or conflicts involving pupils or families.

Photographs of pupils are not shared without the consent of the families responsible. Consent for one specific photo does not authorise forwarding it or publishing it generally outside this space or in other groups.

This space does not replace the school’s official channels. It is not used for emergencies, official communications from the school or the AFA, or individual complaints. Those matters should be taken up through the school’s channels or with the people responsible.

To report a breach or to ask for a message, photo or piece of data to be taken down, write to info@lanovaafa.cat (the administrators’ channel).

This website does not archive the chat. WhatsApp keeps messages under its own service. Administrators do not export the history to a system of our own. They may warn, mute or exclude anyone who breaks these rules. Repeated breaches, or a serious breach (data about children, personal attacks), may lead to immediate exclusion.
